From indie music festival to food-truck and great exhibitions, Paris is full of surprises this third week of september.  We have chosen for you some great events who will take you far from what city guide wants you to visit. Here’s a sneak peek into what you have to do this week  : 

Exhibitions 

Niki de St Phalle at Grand Palais (17th sept.)

One of the greatest french modern artist. From sculpture to video, Niki de St Phalle worked with every media. More than a retrospective, this exhibition aims at showing how deeply is Niki de St Phalle’s work with social-politic issues ( feminism, history of modern art ..). Informations here.

Festival Temps d’Image at 104 (17th – 28th sept)

A festival where theater, cinema, fine arts and music finally meet. Informations here.

Festival des cultures d’Islam : Maroc : Arts d’identités at Institut des Cultures d’Islam (18th of september – 21 of december)

Near Barbès, a festival dedicated to Morocco and its culture. Details here.

Music

Eldorado Music Festival at Café de la Danse (15-20 sept.)

A rock’nroll date where 11 trendy bands will play. Informations here.

Trendy

Vogue Fashion Night Out (17th)

Paris is definitely the city of fashion. Since 2009, infamous Vogue magazine takes over Paris golden area (from rue St Honoré to place de la Madeleine) and highlights best fashion designers.

Street Food Temple at Carreau du Temple (from 19th to 21th)

In Le Marais, one of the trendiest neighborhood of Paris, a festival dedicated to food-truck. More here.
