
« Happy Valley » récompensée aux BAFTA TV Awards
La série Happy Valley a remporté le BAFTA TV award dans la catégorie “Drama Série”, l’un des plus prestigieux de la sélection des British Academy Television Awards, qui illustre ce qui se fait de mieux à la télévision britannique depuis 1955. Hébergée comme chaque année par les BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), la cérémonie a eu lieu dimanche à Londres.
Dans la catégorie “Leading actress”, Georgina Campbell a été récompensée pour son rôle dans Murdered by My Boyfriend et Jason Watkins, consacré meilleur acteur dans la série The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, devançant le charismatique et très attendu Benedict Cumberbatch, excellent interprète de Sherlock Holmes dans la série Sherlock.
Parmi les autres grands gagnants, Marvelous, The Missing et Line Of Duty, sont en tête. La télévision américaine était aussi représentée avec la série True Detective diffusée sur HBO, qui figure au palmarès en remportant le BAFTA” International”.
