This Weekend In Paris, 4-6 November

It’s time for the best part of the week… the weekend. No need to worry if you don’t have any plans, here’s a few things that you can do. From museum visits to new expos, there is something for you to enjoy this weekend in Paris.

Free Museum Visits

Paris has various museums and monuments to visit, many of which require visitor to buy a ticket. However, with the first Sunday of November coming up, many of the Parisian Museums will be free to enter. Some of the museums include the Centre Pompidou, Museé d’Orsay, and Museé de l’Orangerie. If you’re looking for something to do this Sunday but don’t want to spend that much money, you can check out a museum.

“Ofrenda” Exhibit at The Musica

After Halloween there is Toussaint (All Saints Day) which can be viewed as a sad day, but for Mexicans this is a day in which they honor their deceased loved ones. “Ofrenda” is an exhibit that offers its visitor to follow the various stages the dead go through to make their way back to the living world. The exhibit is free and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10h-18h.

The Largest Organic Fair in Paris

The Salon Marjolaine return to Paris this weekend with all the organic goods you can imagine. From meat, cheeses, and wines to clothes, books and household supplies, there are various stands to discover. You won’t have to worry about packing a lunch. There will be various food stands to choose from while you’re there. Staring November 5th until November 13th, the Salon Marjoliane will be held at the Parc Floral in Bois de Vicennes.

Video Game Expo in Paris

Calling all gamers! This week is the return of Paris Games Week at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Until November 6th, all gamers are invited to visit the largest gaming expo in France. This year’s theme RESTART is all about coming together and sharing the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of gaming.  Whether you’re into classic retro videogames or interested in new technology for future video games, the Paris Games Week expo is the place to be.
