Fall in Paris brings all the fun, from exhibitions to festivals, there is something to do. With Halloween right around the corner, there are also some places to visit to get you into the spooky mood.

Welcome to the world of Chocolate

The Salon Du Chocolat comes back this year on the 28t. The Salon du Chocolat will be held at Porte de Versailles until November 1st. This is the world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate and cocoa. There will be various events that take place, including a fashion show, live demonstrations, and competitions.

Chinese Lantern Festival at Zoosafari de Thoiry

Thoiry Lumière Sauvages returns to Zoosafari de Thoiry on October 30th. This Chinese lantern festival will feature over 2,000 lanterns. While walking through the gardens of the Chateau de Thoiry you’ll be walking through various animals and insects. There will also be an underwater and dinosaur area.

Performative Exhibition at Ballet National de Marseille

The (LA)Horde will be putting on a performative exhibition from October 27th until November 4th. The exhibition titled “We Should Have Never Walked on the Moon” combines the museum and the stage to explore the relationship between cinema and dance. From live sculptures to dance installations, there will be over 50 stage performers, stunt performances, and a live DJ.

Halloween fun at Château de Rambouillet

With Halloween right around the corner, who wouldn’t want to explore a castle? On select days from October 26- November 4, visitors will be able to go to the Chateau de Rambouillet for a narrated tour of a mysterious wizard who has been locked in the jail of the castle. As you walk through the castle, Sylve, the mysterious wizard, will have riddles for you. Only if you can answer his riddles, will you be able to make it out of the castle.

New Friends at the Menagerie

Just in time for Halloween, “Même pas peur” will feature new animals in the Ménagerie at Jardin des Plantes. Starting October 26, with snakes, spiders, and even rats you will have the chance to learn more about these animals. Also, on select days you will be able to learn how some animals got their spooky nicknames such as “the white lady’ and “the mountain ghost”. All the Halloween fun will stay until November 6th.
